Radio programme

After having some lessons and work to do about audio we are going to do a new work. This time, we were asked to do a radio programme. We have to talk between 3-5 minutes about our favourite music band.
I chose Queen to do this project and this is the result:

Political Marketing

During the whole year, we have seen different lessons of drawing, speeches,... And we have learnt a lot about what marketing is, how it works, different ways of selling a product...
This time we had to chose posters from 2019 general elections, and analyse them from a marketing point of view.
In this poster of PSOE we can see the party leader Pedro Sanchez in a black and white background and the slogan in red letters. The slogan is directly directed to you and gives you importance telling YOU are the one that has the power to make it happen refering to a change. This poster is quite efective because PSOE has won the elections. In my opinion, I consider it as a good poster because te difference between colours and the slogan refering to yourself are quite effective.

In this poster of Ciudadanos we can see their party leader Albert Rivera walking victoriusly like in a western movie to you with a background of Spanish flags. The slogan referes to yourself and also motivates the reader to take part with them (Vamos). It also uses a rim to make it easier to remember. In my opinion, it is also realy effective because of the picture and like the western reference of the photo.

In this poster of Podemos we can see that the leader of the party, Pablo Iglesias, does not appear in the poster. Instead of that, we can see the colours of the party and the slogan "La historia la escribes tu". This slogan focuses in yourself talking directly to you encouraging voters to vote them to "write history" and "make a change".  I don't really like the poster because it isn't attractive to me due to it's background and colours.

Travel marketing

After doing the speeches our next work is to do a virtual trip to a European city. We had to make a pechakucha pretending to organise a trip to a city or region in Europe. We had to try to convince our classmates that the city we have chosen is the best one.

Speech

Last few lessons we have been discussing  the topic of Arts and Sciences and the difference between these two. After this, we were asked to make a speech on the subject and give our opinion on the matter including those three points:
  • Pros and cons
  • Stereotypes  (arts easier )

Brexit

Last few classes we have been talking about Brexit.
First of all we started learning basics things about the EU and Brexit. We also watched some videos about Brexit to understand why they want to do it, when it all started, which will be its consequences, different types of brexit...

Women and Human Rights

After talking about women and science and feminism during those last classes we were asked to do a questionnaire to know what people think about this. This is what we did: Feminism Questionnaire

Human Rights Video

Before doing the main video we as a class thought that doing a video together about the rights would be a great idea to start with this theme.
Each of us were given a right and we had to make a drawing which represented it. After that we had to explain the right and show the drawing in a video. This was the result: Human rights first video

Women and Science

Last few classes we have been talking about Human Rights, feminism, differences between men and women...
After this we went to the university to record scientist women and ask them for their opinion on the matter. Once we recorded this interview we have done a poster which includes this interview.

Human Rights Drawing

After a few classes talking about Human Rights and women relevance we were asked to record a video about it. Our main idea was to record difference examples of those violations and and off voice talking about Human Rights and Feminism.

Probably the most important fact of our project were the issues, we had many different problems when we had to record it and edit it, especially when the time to edit showed up, our team had problems to upload the files where some of them deleted in this process, this evolved and delivered us issues of lack of content which forced us to take content from YouTube which gave us copyright problems.

Our project consisted of a video where human right and feminism would be combined in two different parts of the the video. One of the features of our video was the off voice that we recorded ourselves. Apart from this, we recorded different scenes in the different college facilities as the campus library.
We had to deal with a lot of problems editing so we had to change a lot our video. This is the final result: Human Rights video

2nd TERM EVALUATION

This second term we have learned tips for improving our recording skills; such as close ups, camera movements... We have also worked and watched some film in class which was funny to me. We also did a really interesting proyect with Angulas Aguinaga in which we had to make youngsters eat fish in an original way.
Personally, this evaluation has been worse than the first one. Not for the content, which was quite interesting and different, but for my work. This evaluation I did not manage well all I had to do and this is something I really want to change.
